Seminar for beginners

GAKO-Kyūdōjō invites to a seminar for beginners in the art of traditional

Japanese archery - Kyūdō.

The course gives an introduction to the basic form of Kyūdō in the tradition of Kanjuro Shibata XX. Sendai.  

Our style is called Heki Ryu Bishu Chikurin-ha. 

Shibata Sensei does not understand kyūdō as sport or competition, but as a mental exercise, which helps us to "purify our minds".
